Can a C hurt my cause?

I know this question have been ask many times, but I want to check make sure. Would a C on one of my class would hurt my chance into going to UCLA, Cal, UCSD, etc.? Especially majoring in bio or business? Does anyone stay 3 years in community college?

For UCLA/Cal, I don’t see how a C could not hurt your cause. Likely less so for UCSD.

If it’s already been asked many times then do a search…and it only takes common sense to know that a C would hurt your chances.

yes a C hurts alot… especially for UCLA and cal… especially for the impacted such as bio and business… especially if its a prereq…

C could hurt your chances. But if you can rationalize the C in your essays that might clear it up. What’s your overall GPA/Major GPA? Questions to ask yourself; A) is my GPA on par? B) is my work load on par?

On one note:
Cal expects you to maintain a B average your final semester. Your acceptance is conditional based on that fact(depending on the major of course).

So don’t think of your last semester prior to transfer as a free ride

I don’t know, but people asking questions they already know the answers to hurts my eyes.

depends on your overall gpa and whether it was taken in a short semester
