Can a DS applicant deposit/hold multiple acceptances?

I’m helping a student who has just received his 3rd Dental School acceptance within a couple of weeks. I’m wondering if he’s allowed to hold multiple acceptances until Spring, like MD applicants are able to? And, would those deposits be refundable, like they are for MD applicants?

For MD applicants, holding multiple acceptances can mean merit scholarships being offered as an attempt to protect yield.

What are the rules with Dental Schools?

A similar question was asked in another forum recently. The correct answer seems to be: Multiple depositing is okay, but the deposits for dental schools are higher and are not refundable.
