I am a future Public Health major and/or Premed.

Does that mean I would live at the Virginia campus? How do you take classes at all the campuses?

Can someone just give me a flyover on the campuses and why there are three, and how they are integrated

Thx.

I’m not a student yet but there are no dorms on the Virginia campus. [First-Year | GW Housing | Division of Student Affairs | The George Washington University](http://living.gwu.edu/first-year)

If you have classes at the Virginia campus, there are free shuttles that take you there.
They leave pretty often.

So Foggy Bottom is the main campus. That is where most classes are held and most students live. The Vern has a couple classes there and houses mostly freshmen. The is a shuttle (called the Vex) that leaves every 5 minutes during the week to and from the Vern. I’m not too sure about the Virginia campus but some I know that some research goes on there and there is also a shuttle that goes there. I’m going to guess it leaves every 15 minutes during the week but it could be every 30 minutes.
