Can a student of Engineering take courses in Computer Science / Economics, etc?

I applied only to the school of engineering.. I didn't even know I could apply to multiple schools. Anyways, I was accepted to Engineering but I also want to take classes in computer science or in the arts, business. Is this possible? Is it possible to even completely change majors eventually going from engineering to computer science or something?

Thanks.

Yes yes and yes. Double majors are extremely easy at CMU and you can dabble in any classes (except maybe drama classes but trust me you don't wanna take classes with those psycho men and women! :)).

Oh and yes you can switch majors but your chances are dependent on GPA and spaces. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!

Thank You! That was my biggest concern. CMU is looking better and better. Do you know when Fin Aid packets should arrive? Finance is the only hinderance right now.

Thanks

Last year, my roommate got my financial aid "estimate" quite early but the actual aid package may come quite a bit later(He was ED I). I don't know the individual dates of when they will send them.

You can ask the Hub if you want for individual and specific date but the date they give us is April 15th. However I wouldn't worry about when they are sending it rather than how much you can milk them for :)
