I've been getting straight A's throughout high school. I've been taking honors/AP Classes. This year I am taking AP Calc, AP Stats, AP Lit, and three regular classes. In all my classes, I have an A except for AP Stats because it's very difficult for me. I currently have a B- in that class, and I'm trying very hard to raise it. However, I'm just curious what will happen if I get a C? I'm applying to UC Davis, Berkeley, UCLA, UCSD, UC Irvine. Thanks.

For the UCs, you send in those grades so it will hurt you
B’s aren’t as bad because they understand it’s your senior year so try to keep it at a B-!

AP Stats is a joke… Last year the lowest grade was like a 90 and I had a 98, without putting in any effort…

^Dont assume that for all schools man. A lot of teachers go way past the ordinary lessons(since its 2 semesters for a lot of high schools when it is supposed to be 1) and it can be quite challenging. For example, Ap euro is a joke at my school, but at a neighboring school it is the hardest ap there.

It has previously been reported that acceptances to Berkeley were conditional on getting at least a 3.0 GPA in senior year courses and no grade lower than a C. Of course, the condition may be different this year, and may be different for different campuses.

@ucbalumnus Can you link me to a written/typed form? I can’t seem to find any info on this.

You will not be “rescinded,” but you may be rejected, because they see your first semester grades before making the final decision.

Correct me if I am wrong.

As to the first step, getting admitted to a UC, your senior year grades don’t count at all and decisions are made based on grades through junior year which are the ones you list when applying. After you complete high school you send your final transcript to the UC you are supposed to attend and based upon your senior grades an admission previously given can be rescinded. “Can” your higher ranked UCs rescind for a C? Yes. Will they? Extremely unlikely for one C.

The conditions (senior year GPA and the like) were the subject of a few threads in the Berkeley forum. There are references here:
[Admitted Freshman FAQ’s](http://students.berkeley.edu/admissions/general.asp?id=102&navid=3684)
but it does not say what the conditions are, or if they are the same for all admitted freshmen.
