Can a USC Marshall WBB admit get a Trustee scholarship and use it for WBB program?

Its not clear on the USC website. Can a USC Marshal WBB (World Bachelor in Business) undergrad admit get a trustee scholarship ? Wondering if one can get a full tution (trustee scholarship award) and use it for WBB ?

Have you already received acceptance for Marshall WBB?

I was only researching the WBB. My D will apply to USC Marshal for Fall 2023. Based on her stats/ECs etc she has a fair chance for Trustee scholarship. Have not decided whether to apply for WBB or Business Administration. If a WBB admit can not avail of an awarded Trustee scholarship, then we may go for Business Administration. Since she has a perfect PSAT score, her chances of being a National Merit Scholar and getting a Presidential scholarship are very good. All the places I have researched talk only about 1/2 or 1/4 tution merit scholarships for WBB. Hence, the question. Thanks!

I am not an expert at WBB but my understanding of both the Presidential and Trustee scholarships is that they only apply to USC tuition.

At the bottom of this page it states, “WBB students may be offered merit scholarships in varying amounts through Marshall directly. Please contact Marshall for more information about merit scholarships.”

I would have your student reach out to Marshall admissions to ask the question. USC keeps track of all contacts so having your student reach out would show interest in the program.

If she is NM and is admitted, she is guaranteed the half-tuition Presidential. The Trustee scholarship is awarded to a very small percentage of students. It is based on much more than grades and test scores. I would be careful about mentioning Trustee specifically so she doesn’t sound over confident. Maybe mention being a National Merit Semi-Finalist and ask about merit scholarships such as Presidential and Trustee.

Good luck!

Thank you very much! Great advice!
