Can access Financial Aid Website. Am I admitted?

<p>After getting the email Friday about how to check my decision on Thursday, I was looking around the Columbia website. </p>

<p>I found the Financial Aid site here (<a href="https://studentviewer.finaid.columbia.edu/NetPartnerStudent/PgHome.aspx%5B/url%5D"&gt;https://studentviewer.finaid.columbia.edu/NetPartnerStudent/PgHome.aspx&lt;/a&gt;) and just tried to log on, to see what would happen. I managed to log on with the ID number I got when I submitted my application and got to a page that said Welcome (My Name)! Below this, it repeated the paragraph on the log in page. To the right of the screen, it says "2012/2013" in a blue box. There isn't any other information on the page, though.</p>

<p>So, am I accepted because I can log in? (I'm assuming the page doesn't contain finaid details because it's not the 29th yet). Or is this something all students who applied can access?</p>

<p>Can anyone else log on here? If so, do you know your decision yet? </p>

<p>I can post a screenshot of the page if that's helpful.</p>

<p>Well, I can log in too. I actually loged in before the 23rd and got the same page. I wish you all the luck, but I don’t think this is any indication of acceptance or not.</p>

<p>Sorry to burst your bubble but I think everyone can log on, well at least I can. When we got our CU ID and portal log-in they said the application status check portal would be available from Feb to Mar 23(last Friday). So what you’re seeing is just the welcome page because they shut down the status check</p>

<p>Well, thank you both for posting. :slight_smile: What you both said is much more likely than an ivy league school leaving a gap like that in the system. </p>

<p>I guess I’ll just wait for the 29th then. Thankfully that’s just four more days.</p>
