Can an online application be sent on the deadline?

I have an application due Nov 1 (tomorrow). And I don't know if I can finish by midnight. Can an online application be sent ON Nov 1 and not be considered late?

Call the school and ask, but I would say if you submit it any time before midnight on November 1, you’re OK.

Hmmm. Does it say on the website it is DUE Nov. 1st or DUE BY Nov. 1st?

By the way, you can always apply for regular decision.

“The file completion deadline for Spring (February) is November 1, 2007.”

I am a transfer student, by the way.

Oh. It’s a bit ambiguous, but I’d probably say that it’s due on Nov. 1st (as if you can submit up until Nov. 1 at 11:59 p.m.)

I’d still suggest doing what Oregon says.

Don’t cut it too close in case there are system problems.

Momhippo has it right-- a lot of times a college’s server goes down just at the wrong time because so many applicants are trying to access it simultaneously. Don’t wait until the last minute!

what if you’re doing the common app
