Schools Applying to:

Union

On a semi separate note, do you guys think this isnt enough colleges to be applying to? I'm fairly confident i'll get into at least one of them but you never know?

Also I didnt realize how long this was. I dont blame you if you dont want to read this :)

i used to live in westchester! for that, i will chance you.

i think tufts is a reach (maybe less of one with ED). emory is a low reach/high match (match with ED). skidmore, union, and bucknell should be safety or low match.

i've think you've got enough colleges on your list. the standard is supposed to be 5-7.

Ok Thats what i've been thinking, too. Its just nice to hear it from somebody else.

As for the amount of colleges, I had thought it was enough, too, but in the past couple of days my counselor and parents have been not so subtly hinting that they think i should add more colleges. And especially after seeing the average amount of colleges people on here have been applying to it's gotten me a little nervous.

A fellow Westchester-ite!

I agree with insubvert. Tufts and Emory are reaches, Skidmore, Union, and Bucknell are low matches/safeties.

If you're truly worried about the number of schools, find a school or two that are similar to those that you like and apply.

hey, if your parents are paying the application fees, why not pick one or two more schools? lol. it gives more options.

don't let the people here convince you that you should be applying to like 12 schools though. maybe that's the average here, but that's waaaay above the norm. most people's lists are reach heavy, but you've got a balanced list already.
