can anybody help me??? Chances

Hey can you guys give me a fair estimate of my chances on getting into the following schools please? Thanks guys

Harvard, MIT, Caltech, Brown, Carnegie Mellon, Harvey Mudd, John Hopkins, USC, Wake Forest

4.0 GPA unweighted, 4.33 weighted.
I am taking the hardest courseload possible, which is only 7 APs total throughout my highschool career at the top private school in my area.
I would be valedectorian if I did not take band, but I am ranked 2nd or 3rd right now.
36 on ACT.
Subject tests: 800 math II, 720 US history, 670 Lit (I am taking AP lit this coming year, so I plan to retake this test as well as take the Chem subject test).
Former President of one of the top 20 key clubs in the world, now I am VP.
Officer in NHS, band, Rho Kappa, Mu Alpha Theta.
Chairman of huge projects, raising $5k, $15k, and $25k each, earning awards in the top 3 positions in each category in Key Club International.
Traveled to Haiti on a mission trip relating to my $15k project, and one of the main figures in helping to establish 1st ever school mission trip, although I wasnt able to attend
5s on both US history and Engl Lang AP exams (only ones available at my school for juniors).
Half Mexican.
Hopeful National Merit.
Work 10 hours a week during school.

I'm not sure what I want to major in, but I really love the liberal arts experience.

If you guys could give me an estimate, thatd be great. Thanks again!

Oh yeah and over 900 legit community service hours (social justice is one of my passions along with learning). I'm applying to like 10 other schools, but those above, especially Harvard are the biggies. Also, if anybody is familiar with BU, what are my chances for the Trustee Scholarship???

Thanks guys

I'd say you'd have as good a chance as anyone for those colleges and that scholarship. :)
Just don't apply to USC for me? xD

ha ok. you got yourself a deal. can i get a 2nd opinion? Thanks xcellerator!

anybody???

I wouldn't consider MIT or CalTech the "liberal arts experience." Sure, they have humanities departments, but they are truly geared towards technology and science...

Well it's either liberal arts or technology. Math is one of my strengths. and I like it alot.

what are your sat i scores?

ergh. Not too good. 750math, 680CR, 670W. On practice tests, I always score 2300 or above (800 math and 800 writing, 8-10 essay, 720+CR every time), and I've taken dozens of practice tests in similar testing conditions, but both times I took the SAT I couldnt get above a 2100 or whatever :( Do you not think that they'll like the ACT scores???

Bump... Cmon guys

act is good. did you take the writing section?

Yeah, scores to come anyday now (I took the June ACT)

As I was reading this I was saying to myself "4.0, ranked highly, perfect ACTs, good SATIIs, seems involved in his ECs in an impressive way for a teenager, seems like a good shot anywhere. Then "half-Mexican." Have fun at any college you want! You are already amazing but that puts you over the top.

Thanks Kicharo! I hope so. Now I gots to focus on the essay and first semester I think

y does your school consider band for your class rank? arent they supposed to take only the 5 core subjects?

It's a private school, so they can do whatever they want I guess? I don't know, it's kind of sucks, but I have realized that it's just a title and that I actually have better grades than the other guys; I think that's what colleges want at least.

Bump... chance me please!

cmon guys 238 views!!!

...... bump :(
