<p>your help would be greatly appreciated.. i'm really paranoid right now T_T</p>

<p>[ *] College of Psychology (Neuroscience or developmental, to be precise)
[ *] SAT- first try (670, 680, 780) second try (680, 750, 710)
[ *] SAT 2- USHistory 770, Math I 770, Math II 750
[ *] ACT- n/a
[ *] unweighted GPA:3.83 at a public highschool (4.3 weighted, if that matters)
[ *] Rank:i'm in the twenties, barely in the 5%
[ *] Other stats:all my classes were either ap's or honors. took 1 ap first year, 2 aps second year, 4 aps third year, and will be taking 7 aps fourth year. im a year ahead in the math curriculum (calc bc is usually for seniors in my school but i took it junior year)
[ *] Subjective Extra Curriculars: NHS (member fourth year), multicultural club (treasurer second year, secretary third year), French NHS (member second, third, fourth years), beta club (member fourth year), community outreach (member first year), hands on community (member first year, treasurer second year)
[ *] Essays: good
[ *] Teacher Recs: awesome
[ *] Counselor Rec: good
[ *] Hook: i dont think i have one
[ *] State or Country:Georgoa
[ *] School Type- public highschool (most rigorous public highschool in georgia)

[ *] major strength/weakness:demanding courses, but low sat scores and somewhat low gpa and not very good ecs, im asian
[ *] Other Factors/questions: 6 ap exams taken so far, four 5's and two 4's (5 on human geography, european history, phsycis c mech, and us history and 4 on calculus bc (ab subscore 4 a well) and english language) on which i got awards. im a drummer at my church band. i did orchestra at school for four years and church for two years. i took french national test and got 13th place (but i heard there were a lot of ties). i went to mission trip twice (a week each to kentucky and washington dc to feed the homeless). i taught at vacation bible study trip three times (three days each). 180+ volunteer hours.</p>

<p>what are my chances if i applied for early action?
what if i applied for regular admission but took sat 2 on november for korean and got an 800 (most probable), and/or took sat 1 again on december to get a higher score (hopefully 2200+ but not guaranteed)? i cannot take sats on october for personal reasons. </p>

<p>any help would be REALLY REALLY appreciated, i am so worried right now. i ate all the paranoia bubbles in the world....... :(</p>

<p>Just really put your heart into your essays and you should have a good shot</p>

<p>^The average applicant doesn’t get in. You need to be well above the average applicant, especially OOS, to have a shot. She has a competitive application but again, it’s not a sure fire thing.</p>

<p>your only problem right now is your low SAT score. Raise that and you should be fine. Also, make sure your essays are AMAZING…they may be what gets you in. Finally, apply EA…you would significantly hurt your chances(as an OOS applicant with an acceptable GPA) if you waited and applied RD.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t call 2140 a low SAT score. With the strong GPA and class strength, no shoe in but I would think you are looking good.</p>
