I recently took the SATs (November 7). I feel like I did really well. Especially on my CR + Writing and maybe a slight increase by 10 or 20 points in math.

My GPA is dangerously low because of my freshman and junior year. I did well in my sophmore year.

I have already submitted an application but I didn't know how to submit a recommendation / essay. Should I reapply? My counselor already gave in my form. Should I have her send another envelope regarding an essay/ recommendation? I'm very nervous. I really want to get into Indiana University!

Oh and can you change majors once you get accepted? Do you think I will get accepted but go for undergrad study?
Thanks,
~Sh1ppu

I’m going to predict you are waitlisted or denied for several reasons. OOS students typically are in the top 30% of their class. Your SAT scores are well under the 25%ile (1100 for the 2009 class) mark and your GPA is lower than the average. I know of several instate students last year with similar SATs, but higher GPA’s that were waitlisted. One applied before 11/1 and one shortly after that.

I’m sorry I can’t be more positive about this application. You never know, and I’m frequently surprised.

Thanks for the feedback, greatly appreciated!
