Can Anyone Explain This?

Why is Stanford's 25%-75% range for ACT scores 26-31? Is this mind boggling to anyone else?

For comparison:
Brown: 27-33
Yale: 31-34
Harvard: 30-34
Dartmouth: 29-34
MIT: 31-34

Also, Stanford has a lot of recruited athletes; it may be that they pull down the lower quartile of Stanford's enrolled students.

Hmm. Collegeboard's page must be out of date.
