I know that USC's undergraduate program is strong, perceived well, and well ranked right near Berkeley and UCLA.

With all the money that USC has raised, is the school trying to raise the profile of the graduate programs though? Both of the most closely watched schools at USC (Marshall and Gould) have fallen in rankings. Among MBA applicants, USC Marshall is being talked about as having had a dramatic fall and you can see the same reflected in most rankings. It used to be ranked #18 just a few years ago, now it's #30 or so. The same with USC Law. It used to be ranked #18 as well but now it's behind historically weaker schools such as GWU, UMinnesota, and Washington U.

While ranking is not everything, it does have an influence on people (especially hiring companies and hiring managers). Anyone know what is going on?
