Hi, I'm an international student. I really want your opinions. O(∩_∩)O~

This isn’t like a peer review in a high school class – it’s much more important than that. Seasoned adults will be reading your essay looking for glimpses of your “character.” That’s an old fashioned word; it means the way you develop your inner qualities: intellectual passion, maturity, social conscience, concern for community, tolerance, inclusiveness and love of learning. You should share your essay with a teacher that knows you well – preferably, the teacher’s writing your recommendation letters, as Admissions Officers look for teachers to reinforce and confirm the “character” projected in a student’s essay. Ask your teachers: “Does this sound like me?” “Does this essay convey who I am?” If they answer yes, then you nailed it.

It’s also not wise to share your essays on CC because another applicant could inadvertently, or on purpose, steal your idea or concept and use it in their essay.

I’ll take a look. just pm me.

Sorry to go off topic (I’m experiencing technical problems with starting a new thread)
Does Yale still consider you for SCEA if you write your SAT on 01 December?

I have contacted the admissions office to inform them of my difficult situation which resulted in an inability to write in November. And I am yet to get a reply.

This is very stressful as I fear that incomplete SCEA applications are disregarded, as opposed to being considered with the RD pool.
I believe that Yale is the best college for me, thus I applied SCEA, however If becoming a Yalie would mean being an RD applicant, then I’ll do it. I just need to know if there’s any hope for me with this predicament.

Please help, any advise will be much appreciated.

Thank you in advance

Sorry you are having problems, but please stop asking the same question on different threads.
