Can anyone here elaborate on the BS/PhD Program (SuperNova)?

I was looking into the BS/PhD program as a prospective freshman, but I found the information provided ont the website to be somewhat limited. I was wondering if anyone here could elaborate on the program, especially in the following respects:

1) It is under the engineering school if I am not mistaken, so is it limited to engineering majors, and if so-- do computer science, statistics, and financial mathematics count?

2) How selective is it? What is the average GPA/SAT score for admits (only being used as a benchmark)?

3) How does tuition work? Does it cost more than a regular bachelors (is the PhD with a fellowship or similar agreement)?

Hello yikes×3
I’m not too familiar with the program. However, I can tell you that computer science has been part of the College of Engineering for quite a while, and it is only starting in 2014 that CS will have its own school. With a program as unique as BS/phD, especially with what I’d imagine are at least a handful of students having done CS before, I’d imagine it would still be doable as a computer science degree. Whether or not you could also do something with finance or statistics, I think is slightly shakier.

That’s about the best I can do to answer your questions but I guarantee that this lady can. Email her if you haven’t already.
