<p>Objective rankings, for the most part, are meaningless compared to your major, your future plans, your “fit”, and your priorities. SO… my POV. A lot of colleges are “lopsided” in their strengths.</p>

<li>Carnegie</li>
<li>BC</li>
<li>NYU/Fordham</li>
<li>Stony Brook (for science/math)</li>
<li>St. Johns PHARM</li>
</ol>

<p>Now based on name recognition and how much you can impress your family, friends, and complete strangers:

  1. Cornell
  2. NYU
  3. CMU
  4. BC
  5. Most people don’t care about the rest</p>
