can anyone please answer this question?

Right now I'm a junior and I have only taken 2 years of a foreign language. I should have taken 3 years this year, but the class conflicted with my schedule. Do you think this would hurt my chances to get into the higher UCs even with my scores??

SAT score: 1920
SAT II score:
Math II 800
Physics 730
U.S. History 670

your SAT score is kinda low for UCB and UCLA. Same with US history.
Your GPA matters a lot too, so this isn’t really enough info.

If your worried about not having enough foreign language, just take a semester of it at cc. That’s 1 year of high school foreign language.

If your in-state you might get in. But then you would need a GPA of 3.9+

You won’t get rejected because you have a 670 on US history instead of, say, a 750. Focus on retaking your SATs though! Your SAT IIs are fine. Nice Math score! What happened on your SAT? Is it the CR and W that’s bringing you down?

About foreign language, also doesn’t matter. A lot of students don’t take more than the required semesters and again, it’s too much of a trivial matter to be a basis for rejection.

well, I’m in state and I have a 4.0 unweighted and a 4.3 weighted (my school didn’t offer ap classes to freshman and sophmores)

ya i sort of thought my SAT score was sort of low. screwed up pretty badly on CR

UC’s don’t look at freshman year grades.
