Back when I was in high school, I took the AP Spanish language Exam and received a 4. Does the '4' clear a class of "ART & HUMANITIES" AND the section of "LANGUAGE OTHER THAN ENGLISH"??! I did not complete two years of high school study in the same language though.

You will be exempted from the language requirement. That does not cover you from taking a Humanities course though.

Well, according to the UC website you CAN fulfill the LOTE (Language Other Than English) requirement and get exempt from a course in Humanities with one test.

“Courses and exams may be used only once to satisfy one IGETC subject area, even if they are listed in your college’s course agreements under more than one subject area. The only exception is Language Other Than English (LOTE). Courses may be used to satisfy both IGETC and major requirements.”

As stated above, Courses may be used to satisfy both IGETC and major requirements…
NOT exams.

“Courses and exams…”

It says exams… and I also talked to a UCLA undergrad rep and she said the same thing so…
