Hi, I really want to know what the difference is between liberal arts colleges and universities.

Is anyone here a liberal arts college student? Please tell me about your experience.

As far as I know, professors at universities focus their attention mainly on graduate students and professors at liberal arts colleges focus their attention mainly on undergraduate students.

Can anyone help me clarify this?

Plus I want to major in neuroscience. Which is the better choice? Liberal arts college or university?

Uhhh, you’ve posted this in the pre-pharmacy forum. This question would be more suitable for the general college search and selection forum.

Having said that - you’re dealing with stereotypes in your definition of university vs LAC (Liberal Arts College) There are so many variables in deciding what is the best institution of higher learning to attend that no-one can answer this for you - it’s going to be up to you to decide.

Every school has its pros and cons, regardless of size, again, no-one in an internet forum can answer this for you.

Okay, caveats aside - if you’re serious about neuroscience - look for a school that offers ample opportunities for research involvement. In general, these opportunities are going to be the most available at schools in close proximity to large medical centers.
