totally lost
dont know where to begin
can anyone of you provide me a link or mail me

google it, or search this forum. There are plenty...

Someone made an excellent suggestion of searching LiveJournal's applyingtograd community; I looked there and there are SOPs AND feedback.

I would also recommend going to a bookstore like Books A Million, Barnes & Noble, Borders, etc. and looking in the section that includes all the college / grad / professional prep. books. They will most likely have a book that offers advice on applying to graduate school, and although you might not need all of it, they might have have sample SOP's and feedback from admissions committee members. I think Kaplan's book does this for sure; but you could look in the others as well.

Good luck! I'm going through the same thing. I'm so used to doing research and analysis papers; writing about myself turned out to be a challenge.

^^ I suggest that every time someone posts this question :)

LiveJournal's community is excellent, I'm a member there and there are like at least 5 SOPs posted there a day. People give good feedback, too.

Also, I recommend Donald Asher's book "Graduate Admissions Essays." It has example essays in the back of the book that are really good and gives great tips.

I happened to find myself in one of said bookstores today, so I got the info for the Kaplan book:

Get Into Graduate School, ISBN: 9781427797834
(btw, if you just go to the store, or look through Google books, the essays start on pg. 89)
