I am a junior in high school, and i was just wondering if a bad AP score can hurt your chances for getting into college. Can AP scores significantly lower or raise a candidates chance for admission to a school?

What colleges are you thinking of specifically? General advice is that colleges won’t really take it into account (it’ll be impressive if you do well & help you skip courses, but it’s not a main factor)—being enrolled in the class & getting good grades is probably more important. I suspect you’d still want to do well for the extra edge at really selective schools.

Well my number one school is UNC-CH, and I’m looking at schools in that ballpark; no higher than them (although they are great schools haha)
