<p>A couple of C’s can dramatically alter your GPA though and then getting away from those C’s is really close to impossible.</p>
<p>Lets say you have 4 C’s in a span of 90 semester units, that will basically put your GPA in the 3.6 range and getting up into 3.7 is almost impossible.</p>
<p>I had 4 C’s and over 90 units, i still got into UCLA , but if we are talking stricktly on GPA, mine was 3.54 (but i applied as a math major so it was on par with all applicants) If you have a 3.5 to 3.69 ish and are applying as a social science major you are at a disadvantage as many students are above the 3.8 mark.</p>
