Can colleges find out if you dropped a honors class or AP class in high school in the first 2 weeks of school? Does it matter anyway?

They CAN find out. And yes, it does matter. Whenever you drop a class in senior year you are supposed to contact a school you have applied to or are applying to and tell them that you dropped it. But, you are dropping it the first 2 weeks of school. I don't think this will matter. When they ask for a class schedule on the application just don't add the class you dropped. Contacting the school about a dropped class is necessary if it is dropped after a quarter or semester. So no worries.

I doubt it. Just ask your counselor what shows up on the transcript they send. If you drop a class early on, its never noted.

On the other hand, sirwatson is right that if you've listed the class on the schedule you send when applying to a college you need to let them know you dropped it.
