Just wondering, I have a bad grade that could potentially effect me getting into a program at another college. There isn't anything but that one class with that one bad grade. Do they have a system where they can search? I heard from some people that you don't have to submit it. Is this true?

If your application form includes the instruction to submit transcripts from all high schools and colleges from which you have taken courses (and most do), and the form includes a signature page in which you promise you are providing complete information (and most do), you could get caught if you don't submit the transcript, and never get an offer of admission, or even get an offer of admission rescinded.

I'm going to have my children submit transcripts for absolutely every secondary and higher education course they've taken when they apply for freshman admission to college. For my oldest son so far, that's

1)

2)

3)

4)

5)

five transcripts so far, and it may be one or two more by the time he applies.

Why should the last grade affect anything? Can it be worse to take a course and get a low grade than to not take a course at all?

Ah ok. Well I just went to the other school for one semester, and just did that one class. I got a D, and I wasn't the only one. The teacher kinda messed about 10 of us up, loosing finals and exams. I am not the only one, and the only reason that I went to this other school was because it was closer to my home. All of my other credits (70+) are from one school. The program that I am trying to get into is on a point system, and if you have D's in the pre req courses, they mark you down. Its such a hard program to get into, I just didn't want to hurt any chances that I had. I am currently taking the class at the school where I have all the classes at. So, I will finish it with a A. Thanks guys!
