Can Colleges tell the difference b/w a Low B and a High B?

Ok, so this Junior Year I'm taking 5 AP classes, 3 of which I have an A in (AP Statistics-Online, AP Art History-Online, and AP English Language). The other 2 I have Bs in (AP Physics B and AP US History). Both AP Physics and AP US History are the toughest APs my school has to offer, not many can achieve an A in either course. For AP Physics I have an 88.3 B (went from a D to a B) and for AP US History I have an 89.4--the teacher won't round to an A :(. I'm not complaining because I know I've been doing well this year, but Junior Year is supposed to be the most important year and I'm worried that more Bs won't help my transcript at all (I have a 3.2 UW, 3.7 W).

So anyways that's why I'm wondering if colleges can tell the difference b/w a low B and a high B because I feel that I'm borderline at the moment. I'm still quite annoyed that I was so close, but oh well.

Edit: And one more question. Would receiving a 4 or 5 on the AP Exam make up for a B in the class.

thanks

No, they will never be able to tell if your teacher doesn’t give +'s or -'s.

Shucks.

They can always tell if you just tell them about it…but that might not be the most productive use of your application space.
