Can EDX courses help as extracurriculars?

<p>I think edX can count as EC. After all, your school doesn’t require edX courses, right?</p>

<p>I doubt that edX courses will help as ECs. Colleges want to see that you can do something outside the classroom. Even academically-oriented ECs require different skills than taking classes. However, edX courses may help if you do them in addition to ECs.</p>
