So my GC made a HUGE mistake on my transcript. Like not just oh an A to an A-</p>
<p>but a whole rank problem so there's a number on there that should NOT be there.
But I just found out and he claims he can't change it!!!!! Because I already turned in early action and it's impossible to change school forms? Is that true???</p>
<p>Am I screwed?</p>
<p>PS the mistake will be fixed on my midyear report–it’s just that the problem lies within the six-semester transcript that is on the common app form that I haven’t even submitted to certain colleges. </p>
<p>And i’m applying to super competitive schools and FREAKING OUT</p>

<p>Are they gonna believe me? or do I need my GC to send yet another letter?</p>
<p>Send some sort of modification, extra info fax for now (they’re all closed now anyway, but it will make you feel better). Then ask the GC for a letter confirming the same, and fax THAT too. Because schools WILL be reading your application possibly BEFORE they get 7th semester grades/ranks. GC cannot change the common app, I’m pretty certain. Can you create another version for other schools, or…that still uses the same GC information doesn’t it? </p>
<p>Mistakes are made, colleges know this, and they’re all set up to receive additional info (maybe you won a national competition and wanted to let them know).</p>
