Can having a job in keeping EMR (Electronic Medical Record) help with a programmer's resume?

I am a freshman computer science major. I've currently landed a job in keeping the EMR (basically this is just reading doctors' handwriting and entering it into the computer). Even though this job leans a little toward the health major (having to work with medical terminology and being in a health care environment), can having it on my resume help me find a future programming job? Is it even relevant by just a little?

Also, since it's my first job ever (meaning I didn't have to file my own income tax report in the past), will having a source of income reduce the amount I get from FAFSA? I get grants and scholarship from the school and Bright Futures too, so how would they be affected?

Last question (I'm sorry that it's irrelevant), is there any good job forums out there that anyone could recommend to me? I'm looking for something where I can read off from people's experiences in different kinds of jobs, such as things like work environment, how tedious the work load is, some tips and advice, etc...
