I am trying to get into a SUNY school, preferably SUNY Oneonta and using the Naviance website it seems most of them require around an 88. I currently have an 85.43. I just took the SAT and got in the mid 700s in math, high 400s in CR and mid 500s in writing. Im registered to take the SAT again on Dec 6 and the ACT on Dec 13. So is it possible for me to get into Oneonta or perhaps a different SUNY school? Also I should mention I'm a senior, and I unfortunately have no Extra curricular activities or AP classes under my belt.

What has your own guidance counselor told you about Oneonta? Did anyone with grades like yours get in last year?

@Sethrogen - You come in around their 75% range for SAT score. It’s not a super hard-to-get-in school, so I think you are in good shape…not guaranteed, but in good shape. All things considered, colleges DO prefer GPA and strength of classes though, so on that front you haven’t done as well. You should apply to several colleges that might accept you. Good luck.

okay thank you very much, and I definitely will apply to more SUNY schools!

I haven’t managed to talk with my guidance counselor about colleges yet, but according to naviance, the average
GPA of people from my school is a 89.51, and average SAT is 1673, and 1128 combined CR and Math
