<p>I am new to this part of the forum and I would like to ask you some questions :)
I will attend a canadian school this fall but I am not satisfied with it and I was wondering if in January 2007 I can apply as freshman to some USA schools? I am an international also and I have no college credit so far.

<p>Anyone ? Let me rephrase: Can I apply as freshman to usa colleges in Jan with 15 college credits from the Dec exams from the Canadian College or I can only apply as transfer?</p>
<p>if you will have 30 hours at the time you are going to be attending another college, you will have to apply as a transfer. If you are going to take 15 hours this fall and 15 hours the following spring, you will be considered a transfer.</p>

There isnt any way to get college credit but still apply as freshman? Transfers are more competitive and I would prefer to apply as freshman..</p>
<p>i dont think so. I wish i could apply as a freshman. I'm not happy with my school and Im trying to transfer out but i have to start as a second year. I'd rather just start over because im younger anyways than people in my year and I'd like to just start off as a freshman at wherever I go so that I can get to know everyone and experience the full 4 year experience... I asked some schools though and they said no so im applying as a transfer... oh well, i guess it wont be so bad. maybe ill ask to live in the frosh dorms! :-)</p>
