So I am taking the October SAT's, and scores won't be available until Oct. 23 or so. Ideally, I want to send applications as early as possible, like early October. Could I send my applications (reporting only my past SAT scores on the application) before sending my new SAT results? Will they eventually get them and consider them? I'd like to apply the first or second week of October. Thanks

You can apply before sending scores, college file will be updated when scores received. Scores will be considered after received. Also note that putting prior scores on application means essentially nothing. Colleges use official scores sent by College Board to determine admission not what you put on app.

I also have the same question. I am taking my SAT in october for the first time. If i dont do as well as I plan to, could i retake it in Dec and still submit the applications to the colleges who have their deadlines set in Dec?

And would i have to put my Oct SAT score in the application?
(I am an international student)
Thanks

Most colleges accept through the Dec test for regular admission; a large number accept through Jan test. Check with particular college because they do usually publish in their on-line sites the last test date accepted
