I have not found an exact policy within NE's website stating an ED applicant cannot apply early action to NE. I know early action is meant for people with high interest in the school and what not, but I am an IB diploma student and it would make exams a lot less stressful if I could get some of my decisions in early.

Yes.

Source: I just did that myself.

Where did you apply ED?

I applied to Tufts ED, but I applied to a bunch of other schools early action. The only time that this is prohibited is if a school explicitly states that they have some form of a Restrictive Early Action. This means that (generally speaking) you are free to apply to other schools, but you cannot apply to any other schools ED/EA (exceptions obviously exist).

Yeah I see. I’m applying ED to Vanderbilt, and just applied EA to Northeastern, University of Miami, and Fordham. I would apply EA to Boston College but they are restrictive EA.
