title is the question

Title is the answer

Doing so essentially gives license for any kid at your high school considering applying to either of those schools in the next four years to beat the snot out of you. High Schools can be black listed by colleges for antics like that.

You can apply to other schools RD with your one ED application. If you are accepted ED, you must withdraw all of your RD applications.

No.

You cant. but you can apply EA (not single-choice) to two or more colleges.

what is EA?

what about one ED one EA.

I think you probably could do both ED and EA, since EA is non-binding.

REALLY?? R u sure??

ED is early decision. It is a binding agreement to attend that school if you get in. You can only apply ED to one school and as audiophile said you must withdraw any other applications when you are accepted.

EA is early action. This is not binding. You can apply to other EA schools also, since you are not obligated to attend your EA school.

You would need to find out exactly how your ED school considers simultaneous EA applications.

SCEA is single choice early action. This is not binding, but the schools with SCEA only allow you to apply early to one school (thus the "single choice").

It depends. I know Brown clearly states that, if you're applying ED to Brown, you can't apply EA anywhere. But I think Columbia, for example, lets you apply elsewhere EA even if you're applying to Columbia ED.

But, IvyLeague, there several ED options, I think. If you're considering a school that has EDII, you can apply EDI to some school (presumably your favorite school) and then EDII to the school that does have an EDII plan, provided you aren't accepted at your EDI school.

This might help. Look around this site:

Yes, you can apply ED to two colleges. Hell, you can apply ED to thirty colleges. Would I recommend it? No.

Yes, UC benz is right. It's not illegal to apply ED to 2 schools. Should you? No. Can you? Yes.

You can apply ED to two schools if you apply to one EDI and one EDII.

If I wasn't accepted to my EDI school, I had an EDII app ready to another school.

No you cannot, unless you can convice your GC to sign his/her name and lie to colleges. (GC must counter sign the ED app, which states only one ED app is being sent.)

You are not supposed to apply to more than one college ED. When you apply ED, you are telling the college that you will attend if accepted.
