Can I apply first year again??

<p>Hi! </p>

<p>I'm an international student asking for aid. I got rejected from all the colleges I applied to this year. I'm thinking of re-applying next year. However, t be on the safe side, i will enroll in a college in my country as well. </p>

<p>Having done that, can I apply as a first year applicant or will I be an international transfer?</p>

<p>Yes, as a transfer.</p>

<p>Keep in mind that if you’ll be applying for aid, that will be even more difficult as a transfer student.</p>

<p>If you attend a full year of college post HS, you will definitely be a transfer. However, if you do less, it depends on the college’s definition of a transfer student, see my post #5 here:</p>
