I did not apply for financial aid at Penn when i sent in my application. My family started a business last year and we were expecting to be able to pay for all four years of my education, unfortunately things took a very bad turn the past few months and I won't be able to pay, so I have decided to take an education loan for my freshman year. That's fine, but now with my situation is there a chance that Penn will give me financial aid for my sophomore and the next two years? If not then I will of course have to take a bigger education loan. Yes, i contacted SFS via email but they didnt respond, even on phone I didn't get a clear answer (she said she wanted to look at my documents and all). I don't want to get into the formailities right now, I just want to know whether I can or cannot get aid from sophomore year onwards so that I can decide the size of my loan. Oh by the way I am an INTERNATIONAL student (hurts chances??).
