I haven’t graduated from highschool yet. I stop around secondary 4~5 (Quebec-Montreal) cause of personal family issues Its’ been 4 years now i havent been in school till my friend told me about applying for undergraduate.
He told me either McGill Uni or Uni of Montreal. Is there any chances i could possible get in? I lost my papers of schooling and there’s no retrieving my papers back since its already past 4 years of non schooling.
Im 23 years old born here in Montreal Quebec. Please tell me i have chances of going back to school.
Im also scared if ever il be doing the test cause already 4 years of not in school il be honest i kinda forgot some of my etudes.
Congratulations on your decision to return to school! It won’t be easy, but it will be well worth the effort in the end. Also, I am not really familiar with the Canadian educational system, so please forgive me if I make any mistakes in my advice.

Have you tried to contact the secondary school you attended in order to request your academic records? With technology these days, I would be surprised if they didn’t have your papers stored somewhere!

McGill and Uni of Montreal are two very prestigious and competitive schools. If you have the qualifications to apply, then I’d say go for it! However, I would advise you to come up with a list of “Safety Schools” just in case you are denied admission.

If you are not admitted to a large university the first time around, then I would recommend that you attend a community college for a year… I believe that you call them CEGEPs? Then, after building up your academic record, I would apply to McGill and Uni of Montreal again to show how you’ve improved.

Do not despair! In the United States, there are many people returning to college/university after years of disruption in their education. Good luck!
