im international. here nothing have ap class different from us. so can i apply harvard only with SAT I and SAT II ?
is it okey ? without ap exam for international student
high SAT

97%=A

Colleges will look at your application process holistically. Considering that you’re an international student, and that you never had the opportunity to take an AP class, they won’t penalize you for not having AP exam scores. They will look at your SATs along with the rest of your application to see if you can succeed in their curriculum. This applies to all colleges.

At Harvard in particular, where admission is extremely competitive, and they receive applications from many different types of students, they consider factors way beyond SAT scores, AP scores, and grades. If you’re confident that your SAT 1 and 2 scores and your grades are enough to make you competitive, regardless of the fact that you don’t have AP exam scores, you should be fine.

When applying to ivy leagues, it’s the essays, the ECs, and the qualities that really make you a unique student that will get you into a university.

But honestly, I would advise not getting your hopes too high. Receiving admission into an ivy league has the statistical equivalent of basically winning the lottery.

Good luck though, and don’t stress about not having AP Exam scores. Worry about your essays and ECs.

Thank you so much
Good luck too !

Basically what 15dkcrater19 said. If you don’t have access to AP exams, then why would Harvard expect you to take them? Just focus on getting top-notch grades and have lots of extracurriculars. Ivy league schools are extremely competitive, but it’s possible to get accepted if you work hard and are committed. Good luck!
