can I apply to Cornell and Princeton early?

Nope … Single-Choice EA means that you are only applying to that school early (so no EA or ED)! If you apply Cornell ED you can apply elsewhere ED, but you have to consider your options carefully!

Only one or the other I’m afraid. You cannot do SCEA and ED at the same time.

"If you apply Cornell ED you can apply elsewhere ED, but you have to consider your options carefully! "
um, NO! if you apply to Cornell ED, it is binding…you can not apply somewhere else ED.

No, sorry. Also, Lexieam has no clue what he/she is talking about. You can only apply to ONE school ED. Same thing with single-choice early action, but in that case the acceptance isn’t binding. ED is binding.

You can only apply to one school early if you apply SCEA.

If you apply ED, you may be able to apply to other schools EA (depending on all of the schools requirements… i.e. If you apply to Brown ED, you can apply to MIT EA but not Boston College EA), but you most certainly cannot apply to another school ED.

If another university’s regular deadline comes up before EA/ED/SCEA results come out, can we apply to that university? or do you have to wait until the decisions come out…

You can apply regular or rolling to other places.

Sorry! Yeah! That was a very unfortunate typo! I meant you can apply elsewhere EA (my bad)! And thanks Yankees94, you’re a real charmer!

Not reading the other posts, but…
If you apply ED at an institution, you cannot apply ED anywhere else.
However, you may apply EA to any other institution as long as that EA is not restricted (I do not know if this is the same thing as single choice EA).
