Can I apply to Harvard SCEA and other schools EA?

Before you shout "NO!!" I understand that with Harvard's restrictive early action program, you can only apply there. But I read something today on a forum that confused me. It said because harvard's decision comes out in December and schools like UNC Chapel Hill's EA decision comes after it in January, you can apply to both.

Is this true? I'd be an out of state applicant to UNC, if that helps. And is this special for UNC or can I apply early anywhere that gives out decisions after Harvard? Or is this all just a big myth? Thank you!

You can apply SCEA to Harvard and you can apply early to any public and international universities.

also if any colleges have special programs with early application due dates you can apply to those as well.

@theanaconda‌ that’s awesome! Thank you guys for the informative answers. I’m definitely going to apply to other EA schools like UVA and Chapel Hill.
