I have applied for Bank of America Student Leaders, which is a program to that provides internship for high school students to work in nonprofits. It requires a commitment of 8 weeks in the summer.
I also want to apply for Teens in Public Services which also requires a 6-weeks commitment in case if I don’t get selected by Bank of America.
I’m wondering if it would be okay for me to apply for both. If I make a time commitment, does it mean that I have to go if I get selected? If I get accepted by both, would it be okay for me to choose to not to go to one of them?
Yes, you can apply to more than one…just like you can apply to more than one job or more than one college. If they accept you, you can decline and they will go to their waitlist.
