I am planning on taking a gap year and would like to know if I can still apply to scholarships and financial aid (such as FAFSA) during that time?
If you are taking a GAP year you will need to complete the financial,aid application forms for the year on which younplam to enroll. So…if you are not starting college until fall 2018…you will need to do the 2018-2019 fafsa, and Profile (if required by your colleges).
These will become available on October 1 2017, and will use the 2016 tax year information.
