<p>sadly, i agree. don’t waste your time. it’s the college’s loss when they don’t re-examine a prospective student who wants their school as their number one. put your energy into finding another school and i guarantee you’ll be happier than you would have been at holy cross.</p>
<p>If you don’t need financial aid, I’d consider it. Being able to pay will get you a long way–in spite of the financial aid/need-blind propaganda.</p>
<p>You should absolutely write a letter. I was accepted ED this past November and I believe if you “show them the love” you might find yourself there in September. Don’t forget the kid from The Gatekeepers that sent one postcard everyday to Wesleyan University asking them to accept him. It worked. They found him charming. You’ll never know if it will work unless you try. How long does it take to hand write a letter and mail it. Go for another interview if possible too.</p>
