Can I be accepted into college if my school isn't regionally accredited?

I attend Continental Academy [a virtual school]. The school was regionally accredited, when I first enrolled. As of December 4,2009 they were dropped from the accreditation agency.

I called questioning them in regards to this ordeal, but I received a vague unclear answer.
They told me to call my university/college of choice for the answer.
Also, I have a high GPA and SAT score.

Will this effect my admission into a college/university, because my school is no longer accredited?

I’m guessing it won’t, but I would certainly agree that you should call your desired colleges to find out for sure. Many homeschoolers don’t have umbrella schools at all, accredited or not.

I did all the school stuff for my son - transcript and counselor letter and school profile. He did very well this last admissions cycle.

I would recommend to anyone at a virtual / online / umbrella school that you look at the transcript and school profile in advance just to make sure it will be explanatory enough. I’ve seen people at virtual schools who say that the school profile and transcript weren’t very good.

What grade are you finishing up now?
