<p>I'm currently still in high school and i really want to become a mechanical engineer. My gpa is not good it's ranging in 3.48 - 3.5. I have not taking they sats yet but will soon and would you recommend me taking the act ... ? Also can you recommend colleges for me please thank you !</p>

You could. Some people do better on one than the other.
What state do you live in? Is their flagship university any good? That’s a place to start.</p>

<p>Of course you can be an engineer, you did not need us to tell you that. There is literally a college for all people, as long as you have that diploma. Take the SAT/ACT and subject areas that you feel strong in. </p>
<p>If you cannot get into your desired university go to a state college and transfer as an undergraduate after you get your associates. That is what people do here in Florida.</p>
