On my essay...about significant experiences and stuff...
would be alright for me to talk about my religious beliefs and how my activities at church and stuff affected me and molded me as a person that I am now????

My way of life, my belief system and thoughts are all based on my beliefs in my religion...

I don't think it would be a negative, just as long as you maintain an accepting point of view. I'm very involved in church activities, and (while I'm not writing any of my essays about religion) I can see how one could write effectively about church. So go for it and focus on YOU!

Of course not. Write about what's important to you. And you really don't need all those question marks--it makes it seem like you're desperate and crazy about finding an answer

The tone of your post topic made me laugh. Of course you can be religious. Just make sure your essay isn't advocating the return of the Spanish Inquisition or anything like that. ;)

Ask yourself this: Would you really want to attend a school where talking about your religion's effect on your life was viewed as a negative in admissions? Then, do what you think is best.

in other words, if you feel strongly about teh religion, then write it. if a college rejects you BECAUSE they find it offensive, that college is not a good match for you.

a word of advise though; don't antagonize any party or religions in your essay.
