Can I become an investment banker with a Undergrad in Computer Science?

I want to become a i-banker but the only major that is related to business at our school is econ. Will I be at a disadvantage? I'm thinking of Computer Science with a minor in econ or minor in stat or math?

John, there are people with all kinds of quantitative backgrounds in I-banking, including math and comp sci majors. You might check with the career center.

I did cs and worked a banking internship. I know 2 cs friends of mine that did it this summer. so yes its possible, it won’t hurt you at all. but don’t do cs because you want to get into banking–cs will eat you alive if you do that.

I knew an Ibanker who majored in ARt HIstory in undergrad and another one who majored in Russian in Undergrad (from Stanford and Yale respectively)
