Can I bring a hangboard?

I know this may seem like a rare question, but I thought I would ask it anyway.
I’m very much “into” rock climbing, and I’m curious as to how I will be able to maintain my climbing strength at the Academy. I have a hangboard, (for those who do not know what it is - http://www.metoliusclimbing.com/images/Training/Boards-Rungs/simulator_lgBlk.jpg)
that I would like to bring with my to the Academy. (Obviously I don’t intend to bring it at first) But, in order to use it, I would have to drill it into the wall in my room above the doorway. Does this sound like something they would let me do?

Does anybody know if they have training equipment at the gym specific for rock climbing? If not, would they even consider setting up any equipment if it were “donated” to them?

No. You can't drill holes into government buildings (your dorm room).

I'll let uncynical or another current cadet comment on what sort of equipment is available--my guess is there's plenty. There is a cadet mountaineering club, btw, that sponsors lots of trips for rock-climbing, etc.

As Doc said, you definitely won't be able to drill holes into anything (you can't even tape things on walls!)

I'd wait to get here and speak with members of the mountaineering club. I don't know enough about rock climbing to give specific info, but I'm guessing your concern isn't uncommon for avid rock climbers and that you'll find a way to "cope." ;)
