Does anyone know who I can call to see if I can get any more financial aid? I have some additional information about my financial situation and I would like to call someone it.

yup…you can appeal the financial aid package to try to get more money. This only works if for some reason this year you (and your parents) are in a drastically different financial situation. So lets say last year your mom made bank and this year she doesnt have a job…This is a good reason to appeal.

I dont have the number but google is a great search engine to help with these sorts of things.

Yes, you can call them and try to get more financial aid so long as you have new financial information. The financial aid office’s phone number is (510) 642-6442.

They are only open from 10AM to 3PM Monday through Friday.

You have to go thru the formal appeals process. You can’t just call them and beg them for more finaid.

You can call but I’m very sure you will need documentation to state your case!

I heard someone from the boards officially appeal last year.

^I’m doing the parents’ contribution appeal right now (will hear back in July). I know someone else is doing an appeal as well (for himself, not his parents).

better do it RIGHT NOW bc it will take 6-8 weeks to process!! asap!
