Can I change my college?

I was accepted PSU University Park to Eberly College of Science. When I applied, I chose biological sciences as my area. After getting the decision, I was wondering whether I could switch to engineering. I was kinda undecided so I put biological science. Now I have made up my mind that I want to go engineering. Can I switch out of Eberly?

I really didnt know I was committing anything. I just couldnt decide and I put something down.

You didn't commit to anything. Just apply for an engineering major during the spring of your sophomore year.

Since admission criteria for the various colleges vary, a student cannot simply change colleges. I believe if you want to enter the College of Engineering and were not originally admitted to it, you will have to transfer to the Department of Undergraduate Studies (DUS), meet all the entrance to major requirements for engineering, and then apply for entrance to the major you want in the spring of your sophomore year. Before you take any actions, I would DEFINITELY contact an advisor in the College of Engineering for advice on what you need to do.

Also, it seems that there is a way to transfer into the College of Engineering without going the DUS route. Here is a link that might help:
Transferring into the College

Again, I would contact the Engineering Advising Center and ask what you need to do to change from Eberly to the COE.

You can transfer into COE from eberly. I know someone who did it.

What about undecided into business?
